Photo in the Edmonds Arts Fair Juried show

I won’t have a booth at Edmonds Art Fair this year, but I will have one of my images in the juried show. My piece, Ice Fans, was accepted and will be in display in the juried area inside the building while the art festival is going on.

Accepted to the Bellevue ArtsFair

I have been juried into the 2009 Bellevue ArtsFair (the one in the Bellevue Square parking garage).   I’ll be there from July 24th – 26th with lots of new work to show you!

This year, 940 artists applied for 320 spots, so I’m very happy to be a part of the show. I hope to see you there!

Ice Abstracts

I’ve been working on a new series of pictures. I’m usually not too motivated to shoot in the winter, but this winter has been much colder and drier than usual. I’ve been enjoying getting out with my macro lens and exploring the ice.

Branching out – my first juried watercolor show!

One of my watercolor paintings was juried into a watercolor show today. University Unitarian Church is having an exhibit comprised of the work of Molly Hashimoto and her students. I painted a raven I photographed in Banff, Alberta. I was thrilled when it got juried in. The show opens tomorrow and runs through January 29th.  Although there is no particular theme, most of the work is landscapes or animals. There are about 20 artists in the show, and the paintings are amazing.

Edmonds Arts Festival

Thanks to everyone who visited me at the Edmonds Arts Festival in June. It was one of my most successful shows ever!

The weather was gorgeous, and I hope I get the chance to participate again next year.
